SPORTSGIRL PACKAGING CONCEPTS

These are packaging designs for Sportsgirl for their upcoming Summer 2024/25 Season. These designs are supposed to be bold, colourful and loud, which is the sort of terms that were given in the brief. My designs were singled out for very positive feedback from Sportsgirl, saying that it was successful and aligning with the product it represented.

Ideation
After doing some market research into who Sportsgirl were and what they wanted for their new summer range, I started to do some ideation into the general style that they were after. This was to find good colour matches, and also to formulate some ideas for general styles and patterns.
Packaging Styling
Now that I had the general style of Sportsgirl understood, and had completed ideation to find out the direction I was going, I started to create some patterns for the packages. Though these ones did not get used, they still helped in the creative process.
First Drafts
These are some of the packaging layouts that I created. They use many pastel colours and nice patterns, as directed from feedback by Sportsgirl themselves. Some here were WIPs, and some were the finished product. Dummy text and placeholder images were used as this information and imagery had not been supplied at this point.
Revisions
After A few client meetings, we landed on these designs.
